


CIP was founded on the belief that human interaction wins out over
our modern devices in most business situations. The firm was
initially created to bridge the gap between its domestic buyers and
its international sellers, but it has succeeded in growing into a
full-service financial consulting agency offering a variety of different
products and services. Cindy Yen, Brian Long and Mark Potter have a
combined 30 years of professional experience in Asia. With regards
to their experience and networking channels that they have
accumulated over the years, they are able to find solutions for a
wide cross-section of different people. Cross-cultural business
relationships can be diverse and bring with them unique individual
challenges, so that's why it is extremely essential to have a group
as talented and as experienced as the CIP team.
Both Brian and Mark were born and raised in the state of Maryland,
and have been friends since high school. They lost contact over the
years but discovered in 2006 that they were both living and working
in Asia in related fields. CIP was borne as a result of their decision
to team up and to pool their resources.
Our continued efforts to expand and grow as a company continues
with the recent addition of Cindy Yen to our team. We have now
strategically placed ourselves in several key areas in Asia and will
continue to seek out dynamic and beneficial relationships for our
associates, partners and clients. Our company is growing and so is
our ability.
Brian Long
"Chesapeake"
Chesapeake (pronounced
ches-a-peek) is a native American
Indian word meaning "mother of
waters." The most concentrated
area of the Chesapeake Bay is
located in the state of Maryland,
and was first explored and
mapped by Captain John Smith.
He and his crew were pleasantly
surprised by the bay's natural
beauty and bountiful resources.

Singapore
About Us
Brian has several years of marketing and
consulting experience in the financial
services sector. Through this position, he
assisted some of the top fund
management and insurance companies in
the world gather investment. Most
recently, he was a director at an FX firm in
Tokyo, Japan (121 FX), where he was
responsible for business development
amongst the foreign community there; as
well as establishing the current overseas
relationships the company now relies on.
His final position held there was to
oversee the creation and operation of an
FX vehicle (SATIS) for high net worth
clients and institutions. Brian has been in
the Asia/Pacific region since 1995 and has
built solid relationships throughout. He
spends most of his time between
Singapore and Tokyo. Brian brings
professionalism and creativity to the CIP
team.
Mark Potter
Mark comes from an estate planning and financial services
background in the United States, where he held the position of
sales manager for Mutual of Omaha. In 2003, he relocated and
established himself in Singapore, where he assisted an offshore
asset-management company with their incorporation and
day-to-day operations in the Southeast Asia region. Through this
capacity, he established a core group of relationships in Taiwan,
China, Singapore, and Indonesia. Most recently, within the last 12
months, he worked as an independent 3PM where he helped raise
approximately 45M USD for several US based hedge fund groups.
Mark brings strong communication and strategic management
skills to the CIP team.

Cindy had more than 12-years experience
in the financial services industry in both
the Asia Pacific region and in the United
States. She has extensive knowledge on
Alternative Investments, Hedge Funds,
Structured Finance and the Private Equity
Fund Business. Prior to joining CIP, Cindy
was the Managing Director of a Fund
Management Company. She led the
organization to design and launch several
types of offshore investment funds by
leveraging the company’s financial
innovation and advanced computing
technology. In addition, she grew the
capacity of its fund promotion to a great
degree, as well as its sales distribution and
customer service through various money
channels that included IFAs and licensed
financial institutions. Moreover, she built
up the direct sales team that served the
company’s high net worth individuals and
corporate clients. Cindy brings vast
experience, networks for strategic
planning, product coverage and sales
distribution channels to the CIP team with
great emphasis on Taiwan, Hong Kong and
China.
